The cleaning Process

Every job with Agenda Carpet Cleaning begins with a thorough vacuuming, after a walk-through inspection.

Every home is different. Every carpet is unique. But the carpet cleaning process itself, is generally straightforward.

No carpet cleaning job in Lawton, Oklahoma would be complete without first inspecting the premises to be cleaned. And that is the first thing that I do on arrival. The inspection process is to get a clear, concise, and visual understanding of the condition of the carpet, prior to any other processes being performed. I shouldn't clean a home without first looking at the area to be cleaned, so it makes sense to walk through and see it all before I begin.

Below is the process that is typically followed for every single carpet cleaning job performed by Agenda Carpet Cleaning in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Step 1: walk-through inspection

Just like it says, a walk-through inspection of the areas to be cleaned in the home. This way I know what I'm walking into before the cleaning process begins. During the inspection, and throughout the cleaning process, I will take pictures and video to document the condition of the carpet and areas being cleaned.

Step 2: A thorough vacuuming

Did you know that up to 85% of the soil that makes a carpet dirty, is Dry Particulate Soil that is best removed with thorough and routine vacuuming? And believe it or not, some carpet cleaners don't even vacuum before "cleaning!" Can you believe that?! That sort of defeats the entire purpose of their visit. But not with me! Every job with Agenda Carpet Cleaning begins with a thorough vacuuming. And I mean thorough.

Step 3: Pre-spray spots or potential stains

Some cleaners post treat spots or potential stains, but what I usually do is pre-spray darker spots or potential stains with a certain cleaning solution prior to applying my main cleaning solution on top. This process can vary from job to job, but the reason I do it this way is so the cleaning solution has a bit more time to dwell and work it's chemistry magic on whatever it is in your carpet. But this is not a complete stain treatment process. If these spots or stains require additional work beyond a pre-spray or general cleaning, that would cost extra.

Step 4: apply primary cleaning solution to the carpet

The primary cleaning solution that I will use for the particular job will then be applied to the carpet from a sprayer. This cleaning solution will dwell on the carpet fibers, usually for about 5-10 minutes at most, allowing the chemistry of the solution to do it's job.

Step 5: agitate the cleaning solution into the carpet

Agitation of the cleaning solution into the carpet fibers helps to push the cleaner down into the carpet fibers as it works. This process is performed with a brush attachment or a pad of some type. Depending on the condition of the carpet, this step may or may not be combined with Step 6.

Step 6: pad extraction

Pad extraction is the process of using a pad to remove the soils that the cleaning solution has bonded itself to. This process also helps to speed up drying time because the moisture of the cleaning solution is attracted to the pad during the extraction process.

Step 7: groom the carpet

Once the cleaning process is complete, the last thing to do is to groom the carpet so it can dry faster.

This completes the typical carpet cleaning process for Agenda Carpet Cleaning in Lawton, Oklahoma. It varies from carpet to carpet, and job to job. Things like stain treatment or odor treatment could add some extra steps into the process. It's all dependent on the carpet and the client.
